Brothers is an upcoming Indian action-drama film, directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Dharma Productions, Lionsgate Films and Endemol India. The film is an official remake of the 2011 Hollywood film Warrior.

As shown in Brothers movie trailer Akshay Kumar plays David Fernandes, a school teacher who has to quit his job and become a full-time mixed martial arts fighter to raise money for his daughter open heart surgery. Sidharth Malhotra plays Akshay's younger brother Monty Fernandez, who seems resentful of Akshay's due to what happened in past. He fiercely declares "David jaisa kabhi nahi bann sakta," when called 'incompetent' by his alcoholic father Jackie Shroff.
